New Version 4.3 review in-depth
Do you need a secure way to password-protect your Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, ZIP or Text files? Do you want a password that will prevent anyone from opening your files if you don’t have it?
If you answered yes to both questions, then ExcelPass might be the application you need to meet your needs.
The first thing you need to do is drag and drop your files on the application window. Note that no browse button is available, so you have to drag and drop the files into the window.
As soon as you do that, ExcelPass is able to detect and recognize the type of each file, so you can start entering the desired password.
Finally, the application will add a new security layer to your files, allowing you to decide whether to read-protect or write-protect your files.
You must remember to enter a password to be able to open the file. This password should be strong enough to prevent unauthorized access to your files.
Is ExcelPass worth a try?
ExcelPass is a lightweight and easy-to-use application that does not require many resources, making it a perfect candidate for your modest PC.
Moreover, the tool supports a large number of file formats, so it’s safe to say that you will not need to worry about anything else.
Is it necessary to install ExcelPass?
ExcelPass is a handy application to password-protect files, so it’s needless to say that you do not need to install the application in order to use it.
