I’m trying to add extended attributes on a docker image, specifically to set the umask on docker run ubuntu:16.04.
The fstab:

In an attempt to get this to happen, I have added the following to /etc/fstab, but when run docker run… it seems as if the fs_attributes just aren’t being set in general. The umask is still 002:

/dev/mapper/ubuntu–vg-root / ext4 defaults,errors=remount-ro 0 2
/dev/mapper/ubuntu–vg-swap_1 none swap sw 0 0
/dev/mapper/ubuntu–vg-root / ext4 noexec 0 2
/dev/sdb1 /media/ubuntu/WD 2.2TB ext4 defaults 0 0

The fstab code appears to work because if I check the /etc/fstab after docker run…, the fs_attributes are set for the / media/ubuntu/WD directory on sdb1. Here is the output:
